This multi-purpose material has a chemical composition of 17% chromium and around 4% nickel. It’s normally used in applications that require high level of corrosion resistance and high strength. This material can be manipulated with the temperatures in heat treatment processes. This grade features high hardness, strength and corrosion resistance. This type of materials can increase its strength by obtaining martensitic structure after solution treatment.
