This is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel. This grade has high strength, hardness and is also corrosion resistance. It has a lot of benefits to offer. It has high roughness and high tensile strength. Its hardness is up to 41 HRC. Stainless Steel (SS) 17- 4 PH RCS, Billets & Blooms is resistant to corrosion and suitable for forging and welding. It has good machinability, resistance to oxidation and sulfide stress cracking.
